Tox asked:

And what about high blood pressure? If you don’t have either, could you still have heart disease?

If you have a heart, Then you are at risk of a heart attack. The more bad things you have, the better your chances, except in the rare cases of extremely healthy athletes falling over dead from a heart attack. They fall into the category of having a heart.

High cholesterol predisposes a person to HTN (medical abbreviation for Hypertention or high blood pressure).

No, high cholesterol does NOT need to be present to have a heart disease. Heart diseases vary in forms, severity, and causes.

If one does not have high cholesterol or high blood pressure, one still can have heart disease.
Heart disease can be congenital, meaning one has it since the date they were born. Pregnant women who have certain diseases can cause heart disease in their newborn(s).

      Some causes of heart diseases:
      Smoking
      High fat diet
      Alcohol
Streptococcus infection (signs and symptomps: red, swelling, difficulty swallowing), pus (yellow liquid) in the throat=> left untreated can cause Rheumatic Fever- infection of the heart

and other causes that I dont know

The lower the lower the lower the less factors you have the risk factors for heart disease to have any risk factors you have an attack but obviously the less factors you have to have an attack but obviously the risk factors for heart disease to have to have any risk factors for heart disease to have to have an attack.

Yes you could have or get heart disease with or without those said risk factors.

American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology identify 5 risk factors for heart disease, coronary heart disease, those are:
      Family history
      Diabetes
      Smoking
      High Blood Pressure
      High Cholesterol

If you have the genetic disposition to have heart disease, what you eat, how you conduct the other risk factors, and whether or not you exercise, won’t start or stop heart disease. They only contribute to it getting worse or better.
